So...

If you didn't hear, I didn't get the Starbucks job. In fact, I got the rejection email in about eight hours. Not the best way to start the day.

I'm pretty sure the position was filled, because the email they sent me was sent at exactly 9AM, so I'm thinking it was an automatic response.

Oh well, fuck it...they'll be other chances at Starbucks or somewhere else. I'll find a good job...it's just a matter of time.


Moving on...I went to see a minor league hockey game last night with some friends. To make the evening even more fun, the group included my best friend's two sisters...the cute, funny, and it irks the hell outta him when I flirt. Unfortunately I can't do more then flirt, cause I think he'd kill me. The home team lost, but we all had a good time and we're looking at catching a Phillies game sometime soon.

And in current news, effective as of midnight, all Atlantic City casinos are required by law to be 75% smoke free. I spent most of saturday's shift preping the floors by getting the signs up and such. Tomorrow should be an interesting day.
