So due to a bolt that decided to plant itself in one of my tires last night, I took a sick day today.
It's nice to take a day off when you basically have nothing planned...since the tire thing happened when I got home last night, I didn't have time to think about all the stuff I should do with an extra day off and instead just decided to have a fun day.
First, I after a call to work, I got to sleep in a few extra hours. I lucked out with the tire...it was a minor hit, and they could patch it instead of having to replace it. AND it only took 20 minutes.
With an ample amount of free time in front of me, I went to see Black Snake Moan. Great movie. Great just for the soundtrack alone (I'm a blues fan, so I may be biased). Sammy Jackson can sing! It's not a movie for everyone, but I enjoyed it.
And the first birthday present for my niece has been bought...the girlie-themed airbrush tattoo kit (ages 6+).

You don't have to spend an assload of money! Come to NYC! We'll go halves on a hotel room for the night, and we can go to a dive bar-- the SGNY lot know a few, so I can ask them.
