Ok, so this not sleeping thing is getting a little frustrating.
Normally when I'm keeping this kind of sleeping pattern (5 hours or less a night) I've got something weighing on my mind...I don't always know what's bugging me, but I know something is.
Not this time...if anything I've been calmer then normal, and I have no major decisions to make 'til I see how a few things work out. I've even been less agitated at work.
Yet I'm still up.
I've even avoided installing my new photoshop because I know I won't sleep at all then...I'm saving it for my weekend.
I haven't been able to meditate either...just been way too jumpy...I can't sit still and zone out. Unfortunately that means my brain's stuck in go mode...normally a decent amount of sleep and/or meditation can empty my thoughts, but not doing either means the grey matter's running at about fifth gear. At that point I get a little ADD (well, more then normal) and lose focus, constantly skipping through projects...building playlists for cds to burn, puzzles, solitare, figuring out what needs to get done at work, reading a few books at once, coming up with more tunes for my friend's new toy (yup, I've thought of more), and general time-wasting pursuits...yet nothing gets done due to the distraction.
*sigh*
Like I said...frustrating.
