a not so happy thought for the day...
As a casino employee, i understand that most of the people coming in are losing..it's kinda how i get paid every week.
That being said, let me explain something...i don't get paid enough to lie to you. If you think something is not right at your slot machine, i am one of the people they call over to try and figure out what happened. I am going to look at the facts and the machine records...if something screwed up, i'm doing what i can to compensate you, if nothing screwed up i'm gonna explain what happened, and if you're willing to listen i'm not leaving til i'm damn sure you understand.
Now if things don't go your way...if say you tell me you put in $20 and only played the game once, and i can show you that the machine was played about thirty times in under two minutes and that's why you only have thirty five cents left (yup, i can see all that on the game logs), please....PLEASE...just do me one favor...

yeah...i'm white...big fuckin' deal. My parents raised me right....i don't give a rat's ass what fuckin ethnic background you come from, because in my 32+ years on this planet i have worked with, played with, drank my self stupid with, sat and have long intellectual conversations with, dated or just plain slept with somebody with the same ethnicity as you. I just simply don't care what color your skin is...hot women are hot women, good people are good people, and assholes like you defy color. If you really piss me off, i will make the extra effort to find one of my superiors of your background to come tell you the same thing i did, just to watch your eyes glaze over, your jaw drop, and that stupid little smirk disappear.
Oh yeah...i've had white people hint i'm racist towards them too...guess that means i just don't like anybody.
I'm sorry, but this is the one thing that can still get under my skin...probably because I really don't hear it too often...most people i deal with, even if they're pissed off, are pretty cool. I guess it just irks me because it reminds me of the real prejudice my sister and brother in law face all the time, as well as things my friends and i have had to deal with. It also worries me that it's something my niece is going to have to face one day...that some asshole is going to try and make her feel bad someday just because her parents have different skin colors.
