OK, I think my job is starting to fuck with my brain.
First, a little needed info. Every week I have a quota of customer service reviews I have to hand in, which involve me watching the people I'm in charge of with the guests (preferably without them knowing I'm watching) and making sure they hit certain behaviors during the interaction...not fun but I'm required to hand them in or I get in trouble.
So...I had a strange dream last night. In it, I was about to get married...at the spot of the ceremony, in the tux, with everybody showing up and getting ready for the festivities. The problem was, before the ceremony could start, I had to hand in my service reviews. So here I am, running around the area observing the wedding guests talk to each other, trying to fill the paperwork out, and looking for where I hand it in all so I could get my wedding started. At one point I bump into Gwen Stefani, she gives me a dirty look, and I tell her she was cooler before she left No Doubt (I think that part had something to do with a conversation I was in the other day). Meanwhile, my bride is patiently waiting for me to get done so we can get started.
Now to make it stranger, someone...my sister I think...starts yelling at me like "what are you doing?!?" and "you're late!". This is the point I wake up, look at the clock, and realize I slept through my alarm, and that I have about 20 minutes to get my funky self into some presentable shape and get out the door or else I will be late for work.
And who was my bride to be you ask? I don't know...in the sudden shock of sleeping late and having to run around like a damn fool to get ready for work I forgot. All I can remember is that she was someone I know and she was beautiful....it's really irkin' me that I can't remember.
I told some of my co-workers about it today and they laughed their asses off...several of them told me they've had some strange work-related dreams too.
