So I've been stuck at home for the past two days with a chest cold that is kicking my ass...I've got to go to work tomorrow because I've called out the past two days and I ran out of sick time after the first day.

I've been dragging this cold around for a couple of weeks now because a good part of the staff were out on medical leaves (something I can't afford to do). I was doing all right but it kinda hit me like a brick the other night.

I've got a doctor's appointment set for thursday (my next day off), so the key is to keep myself drugged to the gills on cold medicine until then. The entertainment comes from the fact that I work in a casino that stretches over three blocks, and we're doing this massive slot conversion thing which is going to cause ALL kinds of chaos.

So keep your fingers crossed for me boys and girls...it's gonna be a fun two days.

...and if I say anything too off the wall to ya, it's the tylenol cold talking.
