Beer: Oskar Blues Old Chub Scotch Ale
ABV: 8 %
Color: Dark, like molasses
Type: 12oz can
Region: Colorado, USA
Tasting: 4 Sept 13 1947, in the office
Price: 12.90 for a 6 pack at Wines & Wares
Notes: The first time that I had this I got totally shitfaced at the O'Club in 29 Palms, and I knew immediately that it was a great beer. There is some caramel in the middle with something on the end that I cannot put my finger on. This is more of a winter beer, I can't really see drinking this on a humid day. On the "Shouldi" website it told me: Throw that shit away immediately. I wholeheartedly disagree... This is one of many excellent Oskar Blues beers; another one that I would highly recommend "Ten Fidy" it pours like used motor oil and tastes like carbonated coffee.
