I figured since I took the time to recap 2006, I'd do it again for this year. So here we go..

January: I started out the year drinking a bottle of champagne by myself on the catwalk while a raging game of beer pong was going on in the hallway. I also visited Dachau Concentration Camp, Munich and Schloss Neucshwanstein or Mad King Ludwig Castle's. Oh and I almost forgot the most snow I have ever seen in my life when it snowed in late January.

February: There are only two really cool things that happened to me this month. I got my Gold jump wings, and I bought my first Macintosch computer. If you've never owned one GET ONE!

March: I went to France three freaking times. Nancy, St. Nazaire and Colmar. This is also when I discovered Choco Waffles.

April: I visited Nuremberg, Germany and also went to Quantico, VA for school where I met some really cool dudes. Also I got to see the Post and Relief of the SgtMaj's of the Marine Corps. My Mom and Aunt also came out to visit and I got to see my cousin who lives out there. Thanks for letting me kick it at your house kid.

May: Still at school in Quanticoalso got to visit the Marine Corps Museum. And I got a visit from the familia Sponge!

June: STILL at Quantico but only for the first week. Went to a Mess night in Evening Dress (and man was that comfy!) Got a tour of HMX-1 from Rob (thanks Kid!) and got a visit from the Good Doctor Haney. After that I went home to Texas and visited for about two weeks. I bought my first D-SLR camera and got to see RussianScissors for a couple of hours. After Texas I came back to Germany and went to Berlin and saw the Berlin Wall and Check Point Charlie and REAL PENGUINS!

July: Visited Meersburg, Germany; Lindau, Austria; and Turino, Italy (got to see the Shroud of Turin!). Also went to a dinner in downtown Stuttgart to see the Prime Minister of Baden-Wurttemberg and the German Federal Minister of Defense.

August: Went to Geneva, Switzerland and Vienna, Austria. I had a Mojito there and it was F-ing delicious!

September: Went on a four day trip in the Tuscany region of Italy and visited Florence, Pisa, San Gimignano and Siena. Then I got to go back to Munich for the opening day of October feast and stayed there for three days. Also ran seven miles for the 24 hour Marathon here at Patch.

October: Went on a Volksmarch in Marianske, Czech Republic and on the way back to Germany stopped in Pilsen to visit the Brewery! I got to also go to my very first Navy Ball! This is also when I went to SAMS 31 and met a Very Cool Girl (she plays the Piano, although I've never heard her play I'm sure she Rocks!)

November: Went to the Marine Corps Ball and heard retired GEN Hagee speak. The dude broke out in German it was impressive! For Veterans day I went to Luxembourg to visit GEN Patton's grave and also went to Bastogne, Belgium to walk the Battle of the Bulge battle ground. I spent my Thanksgiving in London, England.

December: Went to the Holiday Ball and had a great time (much better than last years!) Also visited Prague, Czech Republic and spent my Christmas in Rome, Italy. I got to hear the Mid-night Mass in St. Peter's Square and also saw the Sistine Chapel and the inside of St. Peter's Basilica.
