15 Things that make me sad
1. Celebrity Reality TV shows. This has become the new American dream. This gives me the fear! I dont really care what these people do on camera.
2. People that are famous for nothing. I didnt imagine this would happen when Andy Warhol said In the future everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes. Its annoying when I open up yahoo there is some BS article on some stupid celebrity. And I find asking myself why the fuck is this person famous.
3. Stupid TV shows: glee, vampire BS shows, Disney channel, MTV. I remember when MTV actually was Music Television. It should be called MHTV (Media Whore Television) now. The Disney channel is another example of how cool a channel can be then turned to shit. I remember seeing a lot of cool cartoons here as a kid, now it is full of stupid teenage sitcoms that are lame as hell. And what is up with these entire lame vampire shows. I admit I admit I watch True Blood cause it is the best one out there (boobies), but I tried watching some of these other ones and I couldnt hold my lunch in. Its like twilight on TV once a week. Not cool!
4. AT&T/Apple commercials. They try to capitalize on human emotion, but it just makes my stomach feel bad and want to vomit. At least Verizon/Motorola uses some pretty cool graphics in their commercials.
5. Stupid dancing movies/ video games.Video games are not supposed to be physical activities. Why dont you just go to a club and be a DJ or Dance. Dont make it into a video game. Now, I love Rock Band cause its more than one person playing and the music is a lot better. I do actually play real guitar too, but its fun to hold that little plastic guitar and act a fool (I mostly have a serious look though) sometimes (especially after a few drinks).
6. Traffic/ stupid drivers. Thats why I take the train to school and I feel way better when I get there.
7. A lot of pop and dance music coming out. Little kids/ teenagers that sing professionally are a good majority of what I mean. Only talent they have is singing decently. They dont write the music or lyrics, so I dont really see them as talented. This also includes a lot of cookie cutter rock bands. Ive been forced to look into the indie rock sector for this reason and found some real good stuff.
8. Skinny jeans on guys and girls. Just looking at them wearing them makes me feel uncomfortable.
9. Anything emo: music, hair, clothes, and lifestyle. Not healthy to be so negative about everything.
10. When someone post 50 pics of themselves a day. I get it you love yourself, probably way more than a healthy person should. And stop it with that Duck Face shit!!!
11. Religion: example Scientology. Seriously people, WTF is wrong with yall! The Star Wars saga is far more believable than the BS being feed to you. But I guess its not better than believing in a bearded man in the sky looking down at everything we do.
12. Politicians. Cant trust them no matter what party you follow. The closest politician I can see eye to eye with is Ron Paul. He has some awesome ideas, but they arent popular with either side. Thats probably why this great country is going to shit.
13. People that expected President Obama to change everything and fix all of our problems within two years. It took Bush 8 years to get us into this mess it should only take about two years to fix it right? Not really. Get a freaking clue! Bush was slowly fucking us while whispering sweet nothings in our ear. Is that better than telling us straight up that we are in a bad situation and it will take a lot of time and energy to get us out of the mess we are in.
14. California (and New Jersey), because it is the source of the majority that makes me sad. Especially those California commercials.
15. Sarah Palin. Everything that comes out of this womans mouth makes me want to punch babies!!! Is this the voice that the GOP has chosen to represent them? Its fucking crazy to think this might be the main Republican candidate for the presidency in two years. If this woman gets elected or even nominated as the Republican candidate, I will renounce my citizenship and move out of here. I would rather deal with the drug cartels in Juarez than live in a country where that woman is president. Its not because she is a woman. Its because she is just pure fucking evil and full of ignorance. She represents everything I fear in one package.
