miffy

sigh, Eric vacuumed the room because I managed to drop a box of detergent (white powder explosion) in the entryway and then drop a bag of sugar in front of the stove during post-dinner clean up.

I do not vacuum. I will clean everything, I will do laundry, fold, wash dishes, take out the trash, clean out the fridge, organize anything, replace all trash bags, clean toilets/sinks/tubs, clean counters, sweep floors, feed pets, clean up after pets, even pick up dog poop in the yard... hell, I'll change the bag in the vacuum.. but I will not do the actual vacuuming.

Something about the sound of it, it makes me very tense and unhappy. That and dirty windowsills, I have a horrible fear of bugs, especially dead ones, and I don't want anything to do with them. Better a live spider than a dead fly.


Tonight I made sukiyaki: Went to the market and got those crazy huge green onions that they don't sell in the states... think scallions except instead of being 1cm in diameter, think 1-2 inches thick.. nappa cabbage, mushrooms, tofu, noodles, beef.... it's good, really.

Ok, me. I'll relax now... um... go ... play a game or two.
