I like Totoro. Fond memory: my boyfriend-at-the-time (now ex) and I were riding the L to Ocean Beach. On Taraval, there was this toy store and there was a Totoro plush in the window. He was holding a leaf over the top front of his head. I remember getting off the train and running to the window, squealing about how cute it was. A week later, the boyfriend gave it to me while we were at work. It wasn't just a plush...you pulled the string at the end and he vibrated around and made me laugh. (Not a perverted toy.) I loved that thing...

Not-so-fond memory: cousins and sibling calling me "Totoro" as an insult. I was not a skinny little girl.
