Let me just say this - I absolutely love our wedding planner. I mean, she's not just great at keeping us on track, really sweet, helpful in every way, keeps us in perspective and keeps us in budget...
but she's getting us things we never could have without her.
1. she convinced our venue to allow us to bring any caterer, not just her preferred vendors.
2. she introduced us to an awesome FILM ONLY photojournalist to photograph our wedding at a competitive rate.
3. she got 'good on paper' design to do our invitations, letterpressed!, and squeeze us in even though she's super busy.
4. she's arranging my DREAM floral designer to do our wedding, despite the fact that she is 100% booked for 2007 and normally has a minimum of $4500 per wedding to do designs for us for only around $1500 - depending on our flowers, of course.
I feel 500 times better having her, and we had to have a day-of-coordinator no matter what, so any money she saves us and anything she can arrange for us that we couldn't get without her really is just awesome bonus.
