Wow, some really good stuff happened today. I finally was vindicated after 13 years of character assassination and cruelty. That was nice.

I got a new pet emperor scorpion over the weekend. It was born to the pet a friend of mine owns a couple months ago and is big enough to eat on its own now. I think it is pretty cool thoug I still call it a stupid bug. My son can't get enough of it yet. If anyone is in AZ and wants one there are 9 more free to good homes. Will not ship though.

Speaking of giant bugs, we have these GIANT 3" beetles out here (palo verde beetles) which do nothing but buzz around drunkenly and fight with other palo verde beetles. They are a little scary because they are REALLY huge and are often mistaken for a massive cockroach. I watched my dog have a ball with one in the back yard. It was sooo cute. He would catch it and let it go and catch it and fling it in the air and it would drunkenly do a fly by on him and he would snatch it out of the air and then toss it again. Eventually the beetle buzzed off over the fence and left the dog barking looking for it. Really funny.
