I just put my neck on the line and bought a really expensive embroidery machine. All on credit of course
I have spent the last few days cleaning and reorganizing my house to make room for it. It cost more than my first two cars combined and will do everything but wash the dishes and give head.
I installed lots of shelving this weekend and found out the hard way why you can't buy an inexpensive stud finder because it tends to work out more like a "stud guesser" with a low rate of accuracy. I also realized there are almost NO studs in a block constructed house. Only every 4 feet!!! ARGH!! I used lots of different hollow wall mounts (there is only 1.7 inches OF hollow between the drywall and the block.) and reinforced my shelves by buying corner brackets and adding 2 more support pieces than it called for. I hope that is enough. I'm only keeping my fabrics and sewing notions on the shelves, but it would suck ass if they all cam crashing down on me.
Anyway, I have more to do before my insanely expensive machine gets delivered but hope once it has paid itself off it will become a somewhat profitable thing for me.
