I went to see the new X-men movie and it was kind of a let down. I was pretty excited about it, but it really wasn't all that. Totally lost what I really liked about the first two. I really hate when Hollywood does that with sequels. Like they figure they know everyone who saw the first two will go see the last in the series so they get cheap about it. It is like sex at the anticlimactic end of a complacent relationship. No one really cares enough to put out the way they used to. I would love to see less of this. Just because they know I'm going to fork over another $9 to see their film doesn't mean they should stop trying to impress me.
