I've been so busy and without a computer of my own the last few days. My brand spanky new one decided to fuck off for whatever reason. The shop had it for a week trying to troubleshoot whatever fucked up random hardware issue it was having.

It is amazing how much one can get done when one is not wasting time on ones computer though.

Also I have finally found something my son is talented at. Sadly, I was worried because he never showed any strong like for or interest in much of anything beyond video games and reading. Today he whipped out his notebook to show me some drawings he had done and WOW! This from the kid who had to go through a bunch of testing for retardation and neurological problems because he, to this day, cannot manage to write even remotely legibly, yet he produced a large number of highly detailed and well proportioned fantasy drawings and tribal tattoo design drawings. I'm so happy! I know it sounds bad, but I was really starting to worry about him. I of course ran out and bought him proper art supplies. Now I need to figure out some good books he can use for guidance, he was telling me has a hard time with feet, boobs and hands.

Can anyone suggest any good reference books which may be able to help guide him?

Funny, I was going to suggest Luis Royo books. Now that I look I am sure you have a few!

Those are a couple good manga tutorials. Manga can help get the basics and then someone suggested anatomy for artists. . .it's a great book showing how muscles lay under the skin to cause how the body looks. Sometimes though it helps to start off with something a lil lighter and allow him to work into the harder stuff when he's ready.
