Recently, I had the pleasure of spending ten days in Maui (Hawaii). Snorkling, bodysurfing, and eating delectable meals...I am now currently in withdrawl , Edmonton is a far cry from the beauty of Maui.
Today is the beginning of my 24th year on this 3rd rock from the sun. I am not one to celebrate the day of any person's birth, let alone my own. Therefore, this day will be like any other in pretty much all respects...except for one or two disturbing calls from family...thankfully my parents are out of town, so I will not be expected to come perform like a dancing monkey during a family dinner.
Although, I am sure to receive a visit from my brother and dinner might come of it. Not sure where I stand on this...free dinner is always nice, but then the subject, that it is my birthday and that my tenture in Acadamia is coming to a pretty swift end is guaranteed to gain mentioning.
