Madness
Somebody else's madness, which I am sharing with you folks for coming and being part of my madness (madness pictured left).
I went hiking today in the driving rain while my state (and the park) flooded. Water was everywhere. On the plus side winter is over (officially) it was a balmy 40F today and some of the snow was gone. I wanted to play with rocks, one of my favorite things to do, but my hands were too raw and wouldn't work (they match my jacket!), plus I didn't wan't to hold my hiking friends up. Had a great time though, we hiked about 8 miles through mud, three milions brooks and streams, plus 6-24" of partially melted snow which in places had 2-12" of running water underneath. I used to get drunk while watching 'flower pickers' in black dance to that stupid dead can dance song and fail to bring any of them home. this is better. the green lady will always dance with me and she always leaves a few love marks to remember her by.

Yes... winter is over. I'm a summer child and glad to see the back of it lol
