I’ve had such a lovely month, how about you?! Earlier this month I traveled home to Anchorage, Alaska for an extended weekend.
5 days flew by! It really wasn’t enough time but I managed to make the most of it. I landed at 5am on a Friday and after a power nap...went to my first of 2 tattoo appointments! We started with the grizzly bear on my shoulder.
So much detail! Took roughly 4-5 hours. I sat pretty well. As most of you know, the shoulder ain’t bad at all so it went pretty easy. The weather this summer in Alaska was BEAUTIFUL😍
I spent as much time outdoors as possible💙after the tattoo I went for drinks with some local pals...felt so good to be around people I’ve known for ages! Just the refresher I needed✨

Saturday I got to spend time w a VERY SPECIAL LADY!!! @jet is one of the first Suicidegirls from Alaska and an OG on the site!!
I’ve known her for a few years. Well before I turned Pink. When she found out I was a hopeful she said some really sweet encouraging words💖and she still roots for me to this day. Love her so much for repping Alaska when few did!! Mega babe.
While I was there I shot some truly beautiful images with my dear friend and local photographer, Patrick Thunn. Most of these images will go straight to Patreon...but I couldn’t help share some of the magic w you all!
To shoot we drove out to the valley at a place called Hatchers Pass. It’s a system of hundreds of trails weaving in and out of mountain ranges. We parked then hiked 3miles before our first of 3 shoot locations. It was such a peaceful, lovely, warm day. Pictures don’t do it justice.
Before I left I had my final tattoo appointment to “finish” my sleeve. This one...hurt a bit more than the shoulder haha. But with a few well placed breaks..and some numbing cream🙈I handled the ditch like a pro! Technically, there’s still one more appointment to blast through it for touch ups.
Alaska is so important to me. I wasn’t just born+raised, its forever my home💙only fitting I have an Alaskan sleeve! Wrist up there’s tree lines, snow covered mountain ranges, aurora borealis, stars, then a grizzly bear. What do you think?!
I left with a full heart and a sore arm😅can’t wait to go back in the fall. Hope y’all are enjoying the final warm winds of summer too✨Chat soon ;)
