Grandpa Wally,

I know that since Grandma Annette died years ago you have distanced yourself a little bit from the family. I will admit that it made me bitter at times, but it didnt change the fact that I loved you. You will always be that grandfather who brought all of us around in his golf cart, pool hopping where you live (which was necessary since it was always a hundred plus degrees), telling interesting war stories, showing us your disgusting detective books, bragging about the green bay packers, and just always laughing about anything and everything.

I am sorry that you never got to know your granddaughter-in-law, I know that you would have loved her, I know that I do. But I am comforted to know that you made amends before you passed and that the pain is now gone. You lived a full life that I can only wish to live myself. But I want you to know that you will always live in my heart and mind and that the world is less without you.
