Wasted- written Jan 5th,2008
walking in the door
first thing is to get carded
a long island on the fly
the cheapest way to get started
next grab a beer
and sip on it slow
the buzz will kick in
and soon take its toll
shots coming on and on
getting drunker by the minute
jager bombs, and snake bites
starting to get more and more into it
midnight passes by
its close to bar close
so trashed, cant speak
and ready to drive home
This isn't the whole poem but i thought ending it there would be nice just to give a sense of what might happen next..drinking and driving is very scary. i was always against it, but im not going to deny that i havent done it. When i look back i thank God that no one got hurt. So just remember next time you drink to really find someone else to drive..or find a place to stay. all my love, Midgee
