back from a few days in the awesome metropolis of buffalo, ny, where i was visiting one of my bestest friends in the world, alissa, before she shunts off to atlanta for law school. good drink, good smoke, good conversation, good music, and *expert* pool-playing = good times. (AND i finally learned how to pronounce 'gyro.') good luck in a-town homie. i'll see ya down there soon.
the hung-over drive back (total drive = 9 to 10 hours) was rather brutal. i couldn't make it all the way, so i had to crash at a highway-side fairfield inn in binghamton, ny, of all places. bought a 12-pack & a pizza & watched the cars speed by till i passed out. then up early & just managed to get the rental car back in time to avoid a late fee.
now i'm off for a bike ride.
i'll let the computer do a virus scan while i'm out. i've been visiting a lot of dodgey porn sites lately, & the computer seems to be running a bit slow. possibly my imagination.
