bracing myself for these election results tonight. i didn't vote because i screwed up and didn't register in time. no matter, DC's three electoral votes will go to Kerry anyway. i don't have a tv, so i'll probably watch the madness unfold in a bar. maybe the press club if its not too obnoxious.
i feel bad for my non-US friends. i think a lot of people in the US don't realize that, because of the US level of influence in the world, this election affects people in other countries almost as much as it affects people in the US, only people in other countries don't get to vote. that's got to be frustrating.

And yeah, you're definitely right about Rehoboth--that place is absolutely dead after August. It sucks too, because there are a lot of decent restaurants and bars to hang out at.
Oh well. I guess I'm stuck with less-than-mediocre bullshit Ocean City bars and restaurants until the summer starts again.
