i gotta get out of this building pronto - i think the guy that bought it is planning on torching the place. i'm serious. for a couple of week's now these two dodgy-looking dudes keep coming in here without explanation and they mess around with the boiler down in the basement for five or ten minutes - while smoking cigars - and then leave. these guys do not look like building contractors to me. they dress in suits, but shitty ones that look like they were purchased at the salvation army. one's this short fat old guy who wears his white hair pulled back in a pony tail, and he's always wearing sunglasses. the other guy's taller, and has this huge birthmark under one of his eyes. when i said 'hey, what's up' to them yesterday, they just fixed me with this hard stare and said nothing. i already know for a fact that the previous owner who, theoretically, just sold it to this new owner who's kicking us all out, is organized-crime-affiliated. (long story.)

anyway, i'm planning on moving saturday. hopefully they won't torch it before then.
