I have an audition for Rent this coming Saturday! It will be the South Island premiere of the show because no one here has really ever heard of it. Hell, I've never seen it and the movie didn't get released here (but I was naughty and downloaded it, I'm going to watch it tomorrow night).
I'm auditioning for the part of Mimi, if anyone's familiar with the show. If you're not, she's a stripper with a drug problem. I think she'll be a good part to play
I really have no idea what I'm going to do if I get in. The show is Queenstown, which is 2 1/2 hours drive from here. Getting time off work and getting to rehearsals is going to be interesting. I'm also going to have to get my ass into gear and get my drivers licence.
