Suprise seventyith birthday party for my Mom yesterday, 30 guests confirmed, $20.00 a head foor food, open bar, I am paying for all, bar/restaurant roughly 30 miles average travel for guests, bar/restauarant located on Lake Ontario, worst snow storm in recent memory, lake effect doubles snow fall at bar/restaurant location..................results............Me and two very hot, bored bartenders are all that are there....................results...........we proceed to "live" in bar/restaurant like it was our home....doing every thing that people do in their homes.........vacum, mop and sponges required........fun-est nit of my life...and there have been others!!
My sis re schedules the party for the next day at 1, I have not left the bar yet!!!!! All the old folks arrive I look a mess, one of the gals has to work it I stay till 6 or so....24 hours in a fucking bar/restaurant. Surreal would only start to explain it...party went good ta boot.
