I Miss Iowa City too .. being able to walk to almost everything is not that common in the world these days. The river and all the drunkin idgits (like me) make that town just great. You are comming back right or are you done with UI ?

and somehow i personally think the blue eyeshadow suits the pictures. they seem to just add a little something, and whilst you wouldn't normally aspire to that, it works so...shit i'm late for work caio

Hey, I just wanted to tell you sweets, I'm probably not going to be around much after this week. I'm moving back to Ohio and Internet access is going to be iffy for a while. I just want to say you are an amazing writer and photographer. I am very impressed by your talent!

Ok, here's where I had trouble:

"...couple of days. For a while..."

I read the preceding lines to mean that the pillow had the scent that lasted only a few days, but that for some reason :you: were using the pillow in the shower? Or were :you: using the shampoo that she used, and the scent of the shampoo only lasts a couple days?

"...your pregnancy...", "...walking toward Kane St...", "...Cookie Crisp..."

You spend so many good words describing things and places and such but you also use certain words that are so final. You described pregnancy later on, why not to begin with too? Kane St. The name of the street is not as important as perhaps "walking towards that street that still has the hot dog stand on it" or some such (it sounds like the person being written to knows where Becca lives, so express interest in what is there besides the name). While Cookie Crisp is a trademarked name that you would have to get permission to use (should this ever get published), how about describing it as "that choclate chip cookie shaped cereal" and let the reader decide what cereal that is?

Regarding not getting your paragraphs, etc. You probably wrote this in a Word document. This site is HTML based, which is not like any word processing software and some of the commands from the software mean something else here, so in transferring data, some automatically gets lost.

I'm not sick, but those photos make me feel better nevertheless.

I had mono once...but they didn't tell me until a couple months after the fact. I just remember going to highschool from 7 to 4:30 then sleeping until 11pm and then going back to sleep at 1:30 and doing that for weeks. Luckily you don't have that!

some how being in College and being sick are like .. well just tightly connected. I hope all goes well. More so I hope your health is well.

congrats on:

1) the movie role.
2) getting all the cuddles. make up for lost time.
3) those photos are superbly off centre as always. the pic with the lights is amazing (i find the little bit of distraction makes a good contrast to the darkness of the rest of the photo) and the one with the caging makes rayna look, haunted. makes me want to know why she looks that way. the third photo, beautiful skin, sad eyes. eleven out of ten for the photos. and ten out of ten for the model.

i wish I could go to Japan. Besides candy, another thing I can't get enough of is NOODLES. I've been to Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Singapore, but never to the noodle motherlands of China and, can you believe it, JAPAN. All noodle-eating countries are on my list of future destination spots, and Japan is the shit as far as NEC's go.

I blew all of my $$ in San Francisco and must save for awhile. I think I will plan another vacation anyway.

Yeah, fun stuff. After I get done staring at your chest (hehe), I was thinking what there is to do. I don't know what you got, but you supply the bat and I'm willing to go take out frustrations on mailboxes, or go ask like goofballs in public (if you can, I know I can), go window shopping, try on clothes that you can't afford or even want... whatever. I could get there either Friday afternoon or Saturday morning and make a day of it, assuming I don't creep you out of course.

I'm in the midwest group, so I know that there's something happening 4/22-23, depending on what youse guys do, maybe repeat it...? For the most part we could just play it by ear, Rayna commented that she may be working, who knows, you may be too. I could wait until after or we could do whatever before, or both (and I'll go exploring while youse two are working if you are).

i love how you get the photo's off centre so often. it gets boring seeing the same old passport style photos, that you see all the time. what is your favourite photo (either self pic or by someone else) of yourself? what gives you the urge to do self pics? i gotta say i love surviving winter2 and im' the kinda...etc. love the shadows in im the kinda, and the angle and your eyes on surviving winter. and you look hot as hell in them which helps.

how often do you write the poems? another thing you seem to kick arse at.

does it help you being the photographer having modelled as well, and vice versa??? which do you prefer to be?

why do you say it's suprising that rayna was shy at first? nerves at the fact she was being photographed or that she was just shy all round? i love the pic she has on her profile atm. in a major way and then funnily enough the one of her in the towel, and the balloon. just a fun photo but then it is after all fun so...
