On a night that seems so innocent, my intentions so good. But I've the taste for a cup of whiskey, that brings me to this bar. Surprising smiles and familiar faces; in the company of pretty girls I am helpless to order another. My only defense is to speak of my love so far away. Suddenly, The last woman I made love to now sits at the end of the bar and my heart whispers something I cant understand over the noise and liquor.
Many choices here, all of them bad.
Well friends, I made it out of that bar last night. It was a stuggle of good and evil, it was a magificent fight. I set my whiskey aside and with out so much as a goodnight, I tipped my hat and walked out the door.
When my phone finally rang; my baby just stepped off stage in hollywood, I could happily say hello my love, i'm home alone with nothing to report. damn whiskey
