ooof, what happened? where am I?
As the afternoon sunshine breaks past my crusty, left over eyeliner, it starts coming back in flashes.
There was a dance floor packed with people when I announced that cake is being served at the bar... and so am I.
Cocktail in one hand, elbow on the bar. A hundred faces and half their names, this is the good stuff.
Last night was such a great party, I want to thank every one that came, but I didn't even get time to say hi to most of my friends that were there.
yay. so much love.
I love the SGs that came out in force, one in particular, eyes that sparkle.
yay for the friends that came from monterrey, fresno, sacramento. I appreciate you.
yay for the cafe du nord and the new owner that makes it possible for me to have fantastic parties and get paid ridiculous sums to feed my ego and my habits.
boo for going to my regular job to kiss strangers' asses for tips.

...I almost forgot today's lyrics!
I found her on a night of fire and noise
Wild bells rang in a wild sky
I knew from that moment on
I'll love her till the day that I died
And I kissed away a thousand tears
My lady of the Various Sorrows
Some begged, some borowed, some stolen
Some kept safe for tomorrow
On and endless night, silver star spangled
The bells from the chapel went jingle-jangle
Do you love me? Like I love you?

She was given to me to put things right
And I stacked all my accomplishments beside her
Still I seemed so obselete and small
I found God and all His devils inside her
In my bed she cast the blizzard out
A mock sun blazed upon her head
So completely filled with light she was
Her shadow fanged and hairy and mad
Our love-lines grew hopelessly tangled
And the bells from the chapel went jingle-jangle
