Hey! Just wanted to kick the tires on this blog thing. I have nothing really to say. I'm just seeing how this technology works. For those of you who might be interested, here's a few random bits about me. I'm a bitter old Punk who writes horror and science fiction. I work for the SciFi Channel in various capacities. You can check out some of my stuff over at SciFiWire and Science Fiction Weekly.

DISCLAIMER--my original title for the above piece was How Alan Moore Can Look on the Bright Side. The "Get Over It" title wasn't my idea, and makes the article seem snarky, what that wasn't my intent.

Here's a review of one my favorite movies of 2008:

For almost the past 20 years, I've been reviewing horror, SF and Grindhouse movies for the Public Radio show MOVIE MAGAZINE INTERNATIONAL. You can hear the show here:

My first novel, Dawn Song, got some good press and netted the Stoker and International Horror Guild Awards. And I have a collection of my short work in preparation called Stories from the Plague Years.

Anyway, just thought I'd introduce myself.

Later!
