You were so sweet to me when I first got here, but after the first two weeks, the honeymoon was definitely over. Still, you got to know me, I got to know you, and we managed to live together pretty nicely.
You've been good to me for almost five years now. Which is why it's hard to say goodbye, but I'm going to have to do it anyway. I won't make empty promises to come visit, and I know you won't be coming to see me either. I will miss you though, just like I missed the others when I left them behind. My memories of you will always be bittersweet, tinged with dreams that never came true, but filled with a thousand days and nights of love, life, and laughter.
Take care of my friends, be good to them in my absence, some of them love you more than you (or they) will ever know. Don't forget to take care of yourself, too.
