I'm about to have a fuck load of down time. And by that I mean there is a possibility that the company I work for may not have any work for me for a long time. Possibly permanently.

Luckily my house is getting sold. So I will have a good chunk of money coming in.

This could also be an opportunity to do more for the band. More writing, networking, booking, practicing, and making contacts time. I may as well take this opportunity to try to turn my dream of being a musician into a reality.

Anyway.

We played some shows out of town this weekend. Up in New Braunfels and Troy, Texas. Both wonderful shows. Lots of positive feedback. Playing with Caspian and Eksi Ekso at the Troy General Store was probably the greatest. It was a musical Barn Party. Being that the stage was actually in an old barn. Probably one of the best times I've ever had playing a live show.

I've started talking to a new female interest. And so far, it is going good. She knows how to speak her mind and put me in my place when I start to over rationalize and/or assume things. She may not be my type when it comes to personal interests, but I dig her intelligence and honesty.
