Fun time show this weekend in San Antonio! I'm so excited about the line-up. Some of San Antonio's finest and the band I'm in. Plus it's the 29th birthday of the bass player from one of the bands. Which means....AFTER PARTY! Hopefully I'll have my drinky boots on considering I'm worn out from all the drinking over the holidays.
It's getting to the point where I'm going to have to distance myself from people and activities in order to focus more on writing music. No one else in the band seems to want to work on writing. So I'm going to take charge(again). The plus side to that (possibly a negative, as well) is my obsession with odd time signatures.
So far the beginning of the newest song I'm writing goes like this.....

I finally got the Enemies - Alpha Waves E.P. in from the U.K.
I'm looooooooving it. Anyone who likes "Ghosts & Vodka" and "Lite" will love "Enemies."
