I haven't even been single for a week. And a girl who likes me says we should be boyfriend and girlfriend. I respond with, "Oh Really? Well, I'm all up for sex, but I won't get into another relationship until I meet the right girl. Which I don't think will happen for a while. Especially down here." (Down here being The Rio Grande Valley)
The girl gives me a confused look and says, "Not for a while, huh? And.....why not down here?
I reply with, "The girls I have met down here aren't sophisticated enough to keep me interested in a relationship."
She says, "Just like every guy. Immature and can't commit."
What? Seriously? At that point i just gave a smirk, a little giggle, and walked away. People can think whatever they want about me. But this really annoyed me. This bitch has no idea how hard I tried (we both did) to make my previous relationship work. I even deeply loved the girl and would think of an actual future from time to time.
There are alot of women in this world. And so, in order for me to be faithful to just one, she needs to be both mentally and sexually sophisticated. And I don't know, but I'm willing to say that a girl who still lives with her parents, claims project runway and rock of love as some of her favorite television programming, has only slept with one guy, can't wait to buy the movie "27 Dresses", and calls Paramore her favorite new band isn't going to be sophisticated enough to keep me interested.
But I don't know. I'm probably just immature.
