other than the sleeping on the floor part, that sounds like pretty much what i want to do too.
I'm not a Christian, so I don't celebrate Christmas. My family does, so I'll join the festivities for the sake of my parents wanting the family to spend some time together.
I do have a hard time replying to the comment of, "Merry Christmas," though. But I try to keep in mind that it's just a way for people to wish happiness upon others.

Our show on saturday was a good one. We made $350 at the door and $80 in merch. So, I'm very happy with that.

i'm not a live sound guy by any means, but i think you'd want to look into a limiter to help control those levels so you don't blow any more speakers.
