as always, your honest reviews of my tunes mean A LOT to me. yeah, i hate how i can never get the vocals to fit in the mix quite right -- they either sit right on top too loud, or get buried in the mix. i used to think it was a compression thing, but i'm starting to think that some crafty eq would fix it -- i just have no idea how to use eq effectively.

Two shows this weekend. I'm very excited. We play with Girl in a Coma tonight and we play a music/art/film festival tomorrow. We are going to start using a trailer now that our equipment has increased. I'm also going to help our cello player buy an electric cello today. I'll be broke for a long while. FUCK IT!

To be honest I can't tell the difference between Indie music and Emo music any more. Now anything that is Indie Pop gets shoved into the Emo genre. I wonder if the blurring is a result of the commercial success of some of these bands?
