I truly hate trying to book a tour. Shit is so fucking tough.

Happy 2008, everyone!

My holidays were good. It was a break I truly needed.

Hi friends!

Do you like Hot Water Music? How about Joan of Arc, Small Brown Bike, Owls, Grade, and Planes Mistaken for Stars?

Yes?!

Well then you are about to have the best day of your life. Listen to Street Smart Cyclist!

You're correct in that you do not know me, not at all. In every thing else, you are entirely false.

We have formed an alliance with Look Again Media (records). Which means we now have a label supporting the band!

It's more of a business stradegy for the band and the label rather than a record deal. So it's not really that big of a deal. We are all just hard working music fanatics and we are going to "have each others backs," so to...

Playing a show tonight with Kris Roe of the Ataris.

Ooooooooooo. Name Drop! Hahahaha.

I don't really care for his music, but he is still a good musician.

It was a dog festival at my house this weekend. Three dogs (two of them puppies) is way too many.

My band had it's cd release show on Saturday. It went well. We sold thirty cd's.

The indie record store from Japan ordered twenty more cd's. smile

dreamergirl:
Hey that's great.
Show me those pup's! miao!!

My little Usul flew in from Missouri yesterday. He is such a happy little two month old puppy and my female Aussie seems to enjoy his company.

He started his crate training this morning and he even made it up my staircase all by himself. He couldn't make it down, though.

Both dogs got a fleet of new toys and new collars. Usul hates leashes.

Book yourself a show here. It's a a small bar, great food, I know a bunch of people that go there regularly, and they have some really good indie shows there.

Warehouse Live has a small stage that would probably work out really well for you guys. Warehouse is an actual venue so you would be less likely to have people who just went to the bar incidentally hear you.

I would play a few shows at Rudyards and move over to Warehouse Live after people have heard yall a few times.

The only time I've seen you play I had a migraine. I couldn't properly enjoy it so I have been itching to see y'all again since that night.
wienus:
yes sir. 180 grams. Ruta maya. limelight. the mix. rock bottom bar. those are most of the places weve played at. if you need more info on them, let me know.

Eh. Another set back.

Our guitarist informed me of his plans to go to graduate school out of state. Which means he's going to leave the band. I'm very sad but I understand what he has to do. For a second I almost lost myself. For a split second I was thinking that I should quit, too. But I decided that I am not going...

I love my new Mesa Boogie Lonestar, but I'm having alot of trouble finding the right tone. Mostly with the over drive on Channel 2.

Fifteen cd's are being mailed out today. They should of been sent out a long time ago. Lazy me.
Someone even asked for an autographed copy. Hahahahaha. We've also received a request for twenty cd by a little Japanese indie...

Thanksgiving was a nice holiday. I stayed in a log Cabin in the hill country of Texas with seven of my friends.
We drank alot, cooked alot, and laughed alot.

Shara Bear went along for the adventure. I can already tell she is bored back at home. But that all changes on thursday when Usul arrives. Shara will finally have a full time animal friend....

Our album was reviewed by The Silent Ballet. They are a group of music fanatics out of Pennsylvania that specify in instrumental and electronic music from around the world..

Score: 7.5/10

They Mean Us play simple, up-tempo mathy-postish-indie rock with a certain je ne sais quoi that permeates every aspect of this beautifully orchestrated semi-progressive instrumental euphoria. Celestial in tone, yet earthy in approach, this...

I wonder where I could go to get a demo. And if they made cars that ran on out waist products, i would be the first in line to get one.

I had a dream that I went to a Military college. I lived in a Coed dorm and it was just like regular college.
We kept our weapons in our rooms (which looked like the bedroom I had when I was 12 living on 10th and Harvey) because we would have surprise attack drills (which was like playing Lazer tag). My crew of both guys...
