The sweet fall air is so soothing. It's so nostalgic. Of what? um...fall. It seems to remind me of all the other falls in my life. The one down the steps, where I landed on my face. The one for that girl. The one from grace. I love driving in the silver blue dusk, a few stars peeking out from behind the curtain of fading light, feeling the rush of air from the window on my face. There is a smell to it, a sweetness. A crispness. I quote the first line from Beck's new album-

"Put your hands on the wheel...
...let the Golden Age begin..."

Well well well. I'm picking up my mom today. She's flying in for the weekend. She's laying down the vocal tracks for the movie I'm finishing up. She's got a great voice. I hope she pulls it off. I got hired to score another feature starting next month! It's a horror/thriller movie. Very exciting. I fully expected to be forced in to getting a job as a waiter or bartender. But I won't have to now. It's nice when things go according to ideals. PDX move on the horizon (hopefully just a few weeks), gettin paid to write music, and we're planning another party... a Day Of The Dead party!!! Complete with real bones, altars, a graveyard, magic tea and many suprises! All are invited, too bad I still live in god damned Corvallis. Sucky suck. Oh well.
