On a whim, I decided to actually leave the house tonight. Went to Java Lords for their Tuesday Open Mic and played a few songs. I'm kinda rusty--I haven't played solo in a few months and the mic pickup in my guitar is loose and rattles around distractingly (man, I should have just gone with a piezo). But yeah, I'm planning on doing that open mic at least a couple more times to build up to my solo gig at Kavarna on June 7th.
