Well at least you did something about it, you know? These fuckers just drove away. Oh well. I get too attached to cute fuzzy things. I went back today to see if he got picked up and he was already gone. Something about that made me feel good and sad at the same time. I am glad the DNR is prompt and doesn't just let poor deer rot on the side of the road. But at the same time his life just seemed so meaningless. Born. Three weeks later, died. DNR picks him up and throws him in the garbage.

What a waste.

Awesome! That's a great picture! I miss that place so much. There are a lot of great sites to jump at in the area. Did you ever go to Dead River Falls?

I don't...think so..? I only got to visit twice for a couple days at a time. We did go out to see one waterfall, but I forget the name. I'll try to ask my cousin where she took us...it was on our way out of town and had a long hike up a paved path to get to it if that tells you anything, which it probably doesn't.

Not knowing where Houghton was, I Googled it and man are you way the hell up north. I used to live in Warren. The UP seems like another planet.
