What is the problem with the so called "progressives" when it comes to the first and second amendments.
As far as I can tell, the only political party that has made it illegal to voice certain speech are the Democrats. Albeit, it's hate speech primarily, but morons have the right to say stupid things, don't they? How the hell are we supposed to know who the dumb asses in society are if they're not allowed to freely express themselves?

The "right" may be uptight assholes, but they, to the best of my knowlege, have NEVER passed a law limiting speech. What they do is create oppressive policies (like what they did to SG a little while ago, having content removed). I can deal with policy. Policy can be fought and changed. It takes an act of congress, literally, to change a law.
What part of the right to keep and bear arms is so hard to understand? As kooky as this sounds, the second amendment was created so citizens could keep their government in check. It must have been pretty God-Damned important because it was the SECOND, as in #2, amendment they wrote!
I know how to fight. I know how to shoot and maneuver. I protect the people around me that can't protect themselves. Fuck the people who choose NOT to protect themselves. I didn't go to war to protect a persons right to be a pussy. I've got some news for you, your government isn't going to protect you. There isn't a police charter anywhere in the U.S.A. that says it's their job to protect or defend an individual. Their job is to protect communities, it's your job to protect yourself. If you don't like guns, get a dog. Statistically, a dog is the best defence you can get, without arming yourself.
