so its been a pretty great week. i went to louisville on tuesday to see Bright Eyes, and Feist ended up pwning the entire show. i was a Feist fan before the show, but now i am forced to daily sing her praises to the heavens from the peaks of the highest mountains (and i'm sure you can believe what an inconvenience that is). so i got a 25 dollar CD that was a self release and had her sign it at the show, and then we got a pic of Feist me and walter doing 'the face'(josie and the pussycats anyone?) so that was pretty fun, and the following day at work was REALLY fun.
then came the Xbox 360. anyone who knows me knows that i am a consumer whore. i have had my 360 reserved for months now and have made draconian efforts to get it paid off before release (goddamn you oblivion). so i get this call on friday that i would have to wait till early 2006 to get my xbox because microsoft not only sucks at software, but also hardware releases. but back to the point. i have spent the last two days pretty bummed out. but then through a wonderful invention from alexander grahm bell (ill call it the Grahamocommunicator) i was able to speak to my local gamestop workers as though they were right next to me, and i was told that i will indeed be getting my xbox on release. so good times will be had. but we all know i will let it gather dust as i play world of warcraft anyway.
week was ended with an epic trip to carbondale for bubble tea, japanese candy, and a trip to target that we kidnapped two lovely girls to go with us so i could pick up the self loathing kit of the year, the jones soda holiday pack. but more on that this week, as i will consume one a day and tell you the immediate effects it has on my husky frame. fun fun fun.
