I've been absent. The sets going up lately kinda bore me. I'm just sayin'. Zivity has been good to me so far. The rest of my life hasn't. What a whirlwind month. Despite everything bad going on I did meet someone with whom I fancy. Slight bummer he isn't local right now. We'll consider that a work in progress. At the very worst Detroit isn't THAT far right...

In other news... on Tuesday we had a holiday work party. For locals I work for Chicago Diner - the new Logan Square location. It's awesome. Our party had a 4 hour open bar. I could probably end the story there and you can imagine how interesting it got. Apparently another girl (thank god someone was doing it with me) and I took our shirts off in the bar we went to after and danced together. This doesn't seem like something out of my nature, but a dive bar across the street from my job is not my ideal shirtlessness kind of place. And taking me shirt off was the least terrible thing to happen that night. Some things I'm just not going to repeat though, but it did make me instill an alcohol haitus (that will probably only last 6 days. What?)

I'll be excited to end 2012. I went into this year optimistic, but hell rained on me this year. I've wavered but I'm getting through. 2013 has to be better.


My WoW/Nerdy theme set on Zivity still has a little time left in the contest. There are incentives for fans and votes, including the ever-so-loved psfb shots that zivity won't take.

My dreads have reached 5.5 months! I love them more everyday. They're starting to get weird bumps and I love it so much I make a sort of 'squee' noise sometimes. I have to restrain myself from tying everything I see into my hair as 'decoration'.


I've been going out too much, or just enough and just too recklessly. I wish I had before/after dance-a-thon photos to compare how coyote ugly I wind up after some nights.
