It was pretty lame... but getting to see the SGs and knowing that they got a lil publicity that they didn't have before is awesome too

And as for the potential new ignorant members.... everyone joins for their own reasons... they will see what it is all about

I have the episode, just haven't watched it yet. From what little I did see, and I haven't seen CSI:NY before so I don't know if this is the standard, it was like, here's a little chunk of this plot, okay, switch over to this totally unrelated thing. The only time I'll accept pacing like that in Star Wars.

I joined because of the SGB show and because Cereal_Killer had been advising me to do so. Before I experienced the SGB, I didn't think I would find chicks with tattoos and piercings attractive. Boy was I ever wrong. My favorite thing about SG so far is that at least with the girls (and some guys) I have interacted with, they are real people, they're friendly, and they don't judge you. Everyone is open-minded. Who wouldn't want to interact with people like that? That is what I would hope that folks who join after seeing the CSI episode would come to realize.
