bar studying is going well. i can see and feel myself getting smarter by the day. it's very reassuring and encouraging. mum's spirits have been good. i guess i have that effect on people tongue but seriously, i'm fuckin' funny, and i think that's helping my mum.

on the other hand, i'm kinduvan intense person, and i think she doesn't know how to take that sometimes. it's been a very long time since we've spent so much time around each other, i feel like she doesn't know the person that i've grown up to be. ah well...that's why it's important for me to be around her now.

anyway...made a few acquaintances here in Annapolis. it's funny, i started the summer bored and morose because i didn't know anyone. now, i'm too frikkn popular and i have to change my study spot in order to get some peace and quiet in this town. hey man, i'm not really going to complain, because in the end it's always better to have friends than no friends. i'm happy to have met these people, i just wish that they knew how to let me have some study time.

i love Annapolis more and more as time goes on. it's such a chill place. like, chilllll...

seriously, this place is fukkn rad. how do i even describe it? by moments. the perfect Annapolitan moment?

maybe it's watching the sailboats sail, no hands on deck, just a lazy captain steering the captain's wheel with his foot while he yawns deeply and scratches his chest. the afternoon sun burns a slow descent in the background.

maybe it's a young adolescent male, bright with summer's glow, reclining sideways in a dinghy. his arm drapes the outboard rudder with all the care and listlessness of a napping dog. it's almost as if the motor isn't even running, and the boy is just lucky enough to catch a current guiding him to the dock while he naps.

yes, this place is a perfect vacation spot. but i'll be happy to move to SF.
