been packing & cleaning, kinda. mostly been hanging out and saying goodbye to my friends and acquaintances. i have not loved this place (South Bend), but i have made some important memories and relationships here.

i definitely regret wasting so much time with the girl that led me on for so long. i should have picked up on the clues and inconsistencies years ago, but oh well...no use crying over spilt milk. i lost some time here, but i have a new horizon to explore. maybe i'll find a meaningful intimacy with someone else wherever it is that i end up.

my plan is still to go to SF after taking the bar. i REALLY want to be part of that scene - there's just so much interesting stuff professionally, culturally, and socially that appeals to me there! my mum's health permitting, that's still where i'll end up. if not, then i'll turn my eyes toward DC. that could be cool too. lots of professionally, culturally, and socially interesting stuff goes on in DC and moreover, i already know the city pretty well. i hope the Wilson Centre is still hosting hardcore shows in the basement

so...what is new from out there?
