Explain?

I think you might mean passover or such but I am not accustomed to it exactly.

Though whatever you speak of it sounds remarkably similar in timing and tradition to the Catholic Lenten season.

Tell Rin THIS american hates fatty beef. I just need mine meaty. and as lean as possible. and slightly toasty/crisp outside with lots of juiciness inside heh heh.

I think some of it is horrible but oftentimes I am forced to not bother with such higher moralities as I am just one man... with needs... such as not starving to death trying to fulfill impossible moral standards -chuckle-

actually, Americans as a whole prefer lean cuts, and lean meats are growing in popularity.

i was referring to the Orthodox tradition of Great Fast, which is to Orthodoxy what Lent is to Catholicism. in fact, i think Lent means "fast" or "great fast"

i'm so in love with the theme song to "King of the Hill" (name?)

plus, the cartoon itself is pretty funny too! smile
robotsatemyhair:
Right there with you. I especially enjoy the lil' cow bell break.

I should check that out more often. The few episodes I've seen were quite good. Although I'd be pleased with a completely ruthless spoof of 'those kind of people' it's interesting and nice how they manage a little more sympathy for the hick in that program.

oh what a night..

and still, something feels empty
goatboy23:
OK, my AM radio childhood just reared its ugly head... When I read, "Oh what a night," I instantly thought of "Late December, back in '63." The Frankie Valli song. Yikes!

came home drunk sometime this weekend and started shooting fotos, some of them were of me. they're now posted, so i guess i have a vanity folder.

i have other fotos that i took the same night/morning of our Guruda using only candlelight. i'll post those as soon as i've resized them.

ps - Guruda is a mythical dragonlike creature that supposedly protects the prez...

today is a loincloth and cowboy hat day...

recuperating from last night's party...just wearin' my loincloth and my cowboy hat, keeping my hat brim low, and my feet propped up high. maybe listen to some music, or watch some cartoons...

if i can manage, i'll show all y'all what a loincloth and cowboy hat day looks like. no promises, i think my camera batteries are...

so, i was at a party in honour of all the boxers, right? and these girls were, well, kinda, well, feeling my arms and shoulders, right?

so i ran away....

OK, so, somehow, i need to meet a girl that's bold enough to levy a wicked conversation with me (& not run away), but not scare me away by feeling me up....

OH, and if...

why cleveland instead of alaska?

also, cloves cost so much here because we have really heavy taxes on cigarettes to try and keep people from smoking. a pack of tobacco cigarettes is about 10 dollars. when i was in seattle in november, i saw cloves at the CORNER STORE for 7 dollars!! i was so happy. we only have them at specialty stores in calgary.

and, um, admiration? rad! there'se nthing else to say about that!
rin:
oh no! double post! good morning!

wow...

so, i smoked so much i lost my voice. and i can hardly breathe. who knew that quitting during boxing season and then jumping right back in could actually be BAD for you?

damn you cloves...damn you rolling tobacco...damn you addiction, that loves to light things on fire and give something for my hands to do.

seriously, i wouldn't smoke cigarettes if it weren't...

A kidlle dee divey too. Wouldn't you?
I wouldn't smoke either if I didn't love it so damned much.
rin:
i miss cloves a lot...not that i've stopped smoking, i've never been a really active smoker. it seems lame to pay 16 bucks for a pack when i only smoke 4 or 5 of them before they're hoplessly stale.

so, i have "Judy and the Dream of Horses" stuck in my head. this is the second day now.

awesome party last night! didn't end 'til about 5 am. we closed out with Everclear in Hawaiian Punch wink it was a great closer, especially after a few hours of some Purple Jesus.

a few funny things happened. first, apparently i re-met this girl last night that i had met last year. unfortunately, i didn't remember her at all, but she totally remembered me.

Oh man. I used to be awful about that re-meeting thing. Glad you're having fun. As for laundry: lay it all across your bed. When you absolutely need to sleep, you'll fold it lightning quick. Or sleep on it, which is the opposite of folding it.
vixennyx:
sorry sweetie- miss u too- im not much here anymore.

it seems like whenever i get to talking with a girl these days, she just wants to know what it's like getting into law school...

boo.
robotsatemyhair:
How does it feel? Are you nervous? How difficult was the process...

Those questions really mean, "Do you want to palm my tits?"
rin:
i think robotsatemyhair got it about right! don't worry, the girls are just impressed.
