Hospitals depress the hell out of me, today its the first time in about 8 years since I stepped foot inside one and if I can go that long again before going in another I'll be a happy chappy. The wonderful people who work in them do there best but by the very nature of the place they are mainly a collection of pain and misery.
While I was sat waiting to be seen to there was this one poor woman who has spent weeks there after being diagnosed with cancer, she was due home today but they found a blood clot behind her eye so now she has to stay in, its enough to make you weep.
I went on OK, there is a problem with my left eye but its not anything to be too concered about at the moment and it just needs to be monitered, I've been referred to a specialist in that part of the eye to see if there is any need for treatment but everything is ok at the moment.
For those who wished me well, a big thanks, reading the comments this morning before going to the hospital meant a lot.
