metamorphosis

hooray for new ink. other than feeling like i got dragged down the road on my arm, i'm happy as can be. i don't have any pics yet, but i'll post one when i do. i put a pic back up that shows the tattoo BEFORE... that phoenix piece is what i had added to. before it just covered the outward-facing part of my arm; i had it extended all the way around the front, all the way around the back, and up over my shoulder more. think of it as a 1/4 sleeve. it isn't technically a 1/2 sleeve because it doesn't go down to my elbow, and it doesn't go all the way around. i want to get it to a 1/2 sleeve eventually, but until i am stable in a full-time job, i like the fact that i can still cover it with many short-sleeve shirts (the more industry-friendly shirts like polo shirts). plus i'm saving any REALLY big ink addition for after my wedding (april of next year). except for the backpiece we're in the process of designing.
