metamorphosis

damn it, plans fell through and now we're not going to the beach. i was so psyched, too! my fiance's best friend [joey] booked the room for the whole week, and we were gonna throw out a couple bones to crash there for 3 days. well, on friday, joey broke up with his girlfriend of 4 years. actually, she broke up with him. so he wasn't in the mood to go to the beach alone [other than the time we would've been there] and didn't think he would enjoy himself, so he cancelled the reservations. poop. no beach for me. i would buy a sandbox and a kiddie pool, and make-believe, but our tiny concrete backyard isn't big enough for them both. i should go get tattooed instead. yea, that's an idea. i'm going to use the extra few days at home to start building stella's new cage. if it's a project strictly limited to weekends, it's going to take all summer, so i figure i'll get a jumpstart.

my name is too long and i want to shorten it. i'm bored and ready for a change. i was just thinking meta... any suggestions? bryn was so wonderful and kind to give me oodles of suggestions, and you can peep them on my previous journal, but i would appreciate any other suggestions, too. cheers
